This soft ground etched print is made using a piece of lace hand-selected in Hong Kong from my time living there, pressed directly into the plate to capture its intricate pattern and delicate texture. The process records the lace as a trace, preserving the quiet beauty of a found domestic material and its subtle imperfections.
Each print is hand-printed, with small variations that make every piece unique.
